Our recycling effort has managed to prevent the emission of 30.858 tons of equivalent CO2. These would be the tons of CO2 emissions in a linear economy model in which all materials are raw materials that are disposed of at the end of their useful life.

In addition, by using our products, our customers are cutting down on the emission of
654 tons of equivalent CO2 every year during their logistics activities, due to the lightness of plastic materials and their efficient design.

Therefore, we avoid the atmospheric emissions of many tons of equivalent CO2. However, what are these tons of CO2 equivalent to?

Naeco’s commitment to protect the environment includes the challenge to plant a tree for every 35 tons of waste managed. Therefore we will be planting 322 native trees in a protected space to absorb CO2 and generate oxygen.

In addition, by using our products, we have prevented64.889 trees from being felled to manufacture alternative products.
All of our products are manufactured with pre-existing waste and not with such valuable elements of nature as trees.

But this is not all! We have managed to calculate the amount of CO2 absorbed by the trees we have planted and

With your help, we have managed to recycle the equivalent to 281.350.000 plastic packaging from the yellow bins, promoting the use of plastic materials from this type of waste to make new products.

We receive the waste from the dump sites in the form of
79.904 compressed bales which we can manage and transform into new products, thanks to your cooperation. Did you know that these waste bales can be as large as 1,30m x 1.20m x 0,80m? Imagine what it would be like to manage all of these waste bales!

By raising the awareness of our customers with the concept of Zero Waste, our products can return to their origin at the end of their useful life, preventing them from turning into new plastic waste.

Thanks to this initiative, our customers have disposed of 768 tn tons of plastic, which we have used to manufacture products with the same properties as the original ones in a closed loop, with zero waste.

These tons of plastic were used to manufacture 64.000 new products by Naeco, which will be fully-recyclable in the future, following a process we call “from cradle to cradle”, because waste continues to be a valuable resource at the end of its useful life.
